Excellent teachers and programs! The teachers are very attentative, and provide regular meetings with parents. They take feedback seriously, and try to make changes where needed. I would highly reccommend this school district to anybody who wants to be involved in their kids' education. The administration is also wonderful and truly care about all the students. The facilities are clean and practical.

There are many programs in Burbank Unified that allow students to flourish and hone their skills. The NAF program lets students learn about work experience in high school and there are student centers that help out these kids with their careers. However, there is a serious lack of leadership that allows these programs to function properly. I would like Burbank Unified to coordinate better for the future since these programs can get messy, and it turns people away from the amazing opprotunities it upholds.
I am a student attending John Burroughs High school and although I love my school, I heavily dislike the school district. Many of Burbank schools were cut of extracurricular programs like sports. This district is incredibly insensitive to their students needs and desires. They value money and budgets more than their actual students. However, the teachers of the district work very hard to support everyone and you can tell they are very passionate about their jobs.
