Burbank High School is an excellent place. It has really helpful and great teachers, who are constantly trying their best to teach you as much as they can. It also has awesome clubs in which you can fully participate, make new friends and have great experiences. The school as well provides events that celebrate diversity, youth, and joy. The staff is always trying their best to keep us safe and make sure everything is going as planed. Counsellors are really helpful since they do their best to ensure that students are learning, having fun, and on track to graduate.
Overall, BHS is a great school!

In my experience, Burbank Unified School District has given equal, unparalleled opportunities to all its students. Most of the elementary school boast great scores on statewide testing and high level of reading comprehension. The middle schools offer music education, theatre, some sports opportunities (though not offered directly through the school), and various academic clubs. The high schools are renowned for having some of the best sports and arts programs in the country. There is no lack of hardworking and supportive teachers, as many of them have gone through the Burbank Public School system only to return as teachers! Each K-12 school does an incredible job of preparing students of all types (ESL, Special Needs, GATE, AP, Honors, etc.) for the next level of their education, especially the college prep classes offered by the high schools. BUSD is fortunate to have access to a number of resources that aren’t offered at other school distracts, from new technology to new books.
BUSD, through the first timid year in elementary, all the way up to my junior year now at Burbank High School, has proven to be one of the greatest public education experiences I could ask for. The district has wonderful programs to offer at every school, with large emphasis on the arts and athletics alike. The teachers are more than competent, always putting the health and safety of the student first, while simultaneously giving us the knowledge we need. Every interaction I've had with the district office has been smooth and simple, whether it be asking for permit signings or transcripts.
The councilors, at my high school specifically, could be stronger, especially when advising teenagers on the next step of their life.
Regardless, BUSD has certainly proved to be an excellent district, and I would highly recommend it to any parent in the LA area looking to give their child a proper education at a public school.
