BHM Schools unites the communities of Buffalo, Hanover and Montrose, and serves over 5,000 students whose test scores significantly exceed state averages.

At the elementary level, the district can offer a variety of options that include traditional neighborhood schools like Hanover, Northwinds and Parkside; buildings with a specialized STEM or STEAM focus at Tatanka or Montrose; and a special multi-age looping model at Discovery.

In middle and high school, students begin to explore college and career options through the AVID curriculum, and enjoy regionally unsurpassed opportunities in activities, athletics and the arts that enrich the educational experience. At Buffalo High School 66% of seniors chose from 35 College in the Schools courses to collectively earn over 4,700 credits and save more than $1.4 million in tuition costs in 2022-23.

Whatever their passion, students find that BHM Schools is “The Place to Dream, Believe and Achieve.”
