The best part about Brunswick High School is the music department. The music department has the most caring, talented, and devoted teachers. The rest of the school is very good. The worst part of the school is probably the counseling office or the school resource officer. The resource officers get bored of doing very little so criminalize kids that aren't doing anything. They do their job when needed, but that isn't often. The counseling office hardly does their job. They will do the bare minimum to help you.

I found the Brunswick School Department offered quality, well-rounded academics with various class-placement opportunities depending on your academic and social abilities. My high school, for example, offered an "academy" program to freshman and sophomores that struggled with larger classes for longer periods of time and gave them a smaller setting with shorter class periods to help meet their needs. I myself found this extremely beneficial in having the extra help when needed and having shorter classes so I didn't struggle as much to keep my focus on the material.
Offering more upper level courses, like AP classes, would be beneficial to many students. There is good amount of variety for courses at the high school level, but for some courses there are only 1-2 sections of it. This makes it difficult for many students to take these courses. For example, the only sections of AP Biology and AP Statistics were offered at the same time, so students were forced to chose between the two.
