The teachers care deeply about their students.
The staff put great importance on improving education. They prepare us for college but also know it is not for everyone, so they tirelessly search for other opportunities for students.
The school never felt "cliquey". There were so many clubs that you could find your niche, but these niches never separated people from each other. You could be an athlete and still take AP classes. Being in band did not make you an outcast. This year, our homecoming Queen and King were in theatre and choir.

Being a student in the Brunswick city school district for the past twelve years has shaped me into the person I am today. The teachers and staff of all three schools, especially the high school, connect to their students and are always involved. I am proud to be a student from such a great district and will truly cherish my time spent here. I would like to see more teacher evaluations by the principles so that teachers can continue to improve their teaching skills. Brunswick City School District goes above and beyond for their community and their students.
I love all the classes available at Brunswick High School. I have participated in four years of cross country and help establish a class at the school. I am so grateful that we have many AP classes available to us. I also love the involvement I have in the music department. Overall, I had a good experience, however, as a student with disabilities, I have encountered four years of trouble getting access. I hope that in the future, BHS will become better about student accessibility as education is extremely important.
