I like how Brownwood's study body is diverse in the types of individuals it has. Most public schools don't have the whole spectrum in terms of personality types, strengths, and especially financial background. Brownwood has all variations of these things, that I believe is rare. Usually when these different individuals come together they tend to gather with others in similar traits or backgrounds. However, if you look at the student body at Brownwood, students don't stick to the expected cliques, but rather associate with individuals dissimilar to themselves. I believe that's what makes the student body at my school so unique. I'm friends with people I would've never imagined I had things in common with. I think it gives up all a different outlooks on things, because we converse with people that have radically different experiences than our own. That's what make our students so well-rounded, and creates a unique atmosphere at Brownwood High School.

I love the staff and student body, everyone is so nice and is always willing to lend a hand when needed. The teachers are willing to help one on one with you if you don't understand the lesson plan given that day. The only thing I would like to see change is the work program, I feel like we don’t need to take an actual class but simply be able to leave and go straight to work and be able to catch more hours in. The class is just like our government and economic class so its basically just a waste in my opinion.
I went to Brownwood High for most of high school and graduated this year. My experiences there were not very exciting, although I chose to stay to myself. I liked most of my classes and teachers. Although, the math curriculum failed to prepare students for after high school. Many students grades in college reflects that.
