Brookland School District Reviews
The teachers were willing to reach out to students that feel uncomfortable enteracting with others. They went out of their way to get those students involved in class and clubs and activities. Their encouragement made a world of difference in my development and enteractions with classmates and teachers. I went from have limited social interactions with others to being involved in many clubs, activities and the band. The schools focuses on providing a well rounded education with a strong emphasis on preparation for college. I particularly appreciated the help and instruction on the development of life skills. One area that I think needs reinforcement and upgrading to working closer with students in developing their writing skills.
I have attended Brookland since kindergarten. I am very pleased with the school. I do love that the school is a small school. I like that everyone has a personal relationship with the students, teachers, and administration. The administration and the teachers all work as hard as they can to make it the best experience and learning environment possible. The food is terrible. But I have not heard of a school yet that does not have terrible food. Besides that, all is well. The administration handles everything very responsibly. Overall, Brookland is a great school.
Overall, my experience with Brookland High School has been nothing but positive. I have been able to improve myself academically, athletically, and socially through attending Brookland. With being an athlete and that taking up up a lot of my time, I can honestly say that they enforced academic importance and having good grades or you would not get to play in that particular sport. I have made many friends that i cherish being close with and can always rely on. My teachers always encouraged and assisted me when I asked a question. They were there for the best interest of the students education.
