The Bridgewater-Raritan School District is a fairly decent school district. The academics are very competitive and the student body is pretty large, but lacks some diversity (majority being White with the largest minority being Asians). The district offers many resources and sets students up to the best of their abilities. One of the biggest issues with the district through, is their overall LACK OF CONSISTENCY with everything, especially with the older age groups. The teachers are either amazing or horrible, no in between really. Two students can be taking the same course but one has a good teacher the other has a bad teacher, which is often the case when it comes to higher level classes. The administration all throughout the district, constantly fails to follow their own guidelines they wrote for themselves. The district is easily influenced by the outside world but will do anything to try and get a good reputation.

The Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District is very competitive. Many students are constantly trying to be better. However, many students are also dragging others down. In an effort to be the coolest or the smartest, students are always putting others down. Violence is always in the hallways and teachers do not to anything to stop it. Many students often behave terribly in classes and cause a distraction to the other students. The school is too lenient on the students and does not make an effort to improve the learning environment. However, the school provides sublime clubs and activities. The teachers are also very passionate about their subject and teach their students accordingly.
Teachers here genuinely care about their students and want them to succeed. Here, education is seen as a tool to better themselves and the lives of others. Even though education is stressed upon the students, extra-curricular activities are also supported tremendously. After-school clubs and sports teams give students a nurturing environment and allow students to be themselves. Of course, there is always room for improvement. The community doesn’t really focus too much on the arts. If the school created more opportunities to showcase the art departments, then there could be more fundraisers for the arts. Overall, Bridgewater-Raritan School District is a great learning environment that prepares students for college and the real world.
