Bridgeton High School is an array of positive and negative. It has had issues with violence and bullying and gangs in the past. But have clearly made strides in the right direction with medal detectors and peer groups and mentor programs. Teachers come and go very quickly finding better opportunities, but for the most part the teachers there put their all in what they teach and truly care about building bonds with their students. There are a lot of things that the school needs, more funds, more textbooks, more permanent teachers, etc. There are the occasional fights. It's an imperfect worn down place, but it strives to be better. Most children that grow through the high school, will never forget the experiences made, and how much the school felt like home despite all the bumps in its edges.

The district is average. It’s not as bad as others say and complain about. They have a lot of clubs and activities once you get into high school. In high school they provide a good range of academic classes like AP English, History, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Art, Statistics, and Calculus. The electives aren’t too bad either maybe a few more to really give students a taste of every field. It’s not the best district but it sure ain’t the worst if you make the best out of it. Being from a district with a bad reputation does have its advantage because people might underestimate you. Which you can use in your favor to surprise them.
Bridgeton publics schools just like any other schools do whatever it takes them to see every single student succeed. I feel as if they change their curriculum and actually prepare the srudents for real life situations, it could benefit them more rather than learning sonething that might not be usful for them in a long run.
