I think the staff is a bit poor. There is a lot of drama amongst not just teachers but teachers with students (not entirely reomatic based) The students are cruel and there is no real punishment. The atmosphere is like other high schools- very cliquey. Most funding goes towards sports and not a lot in the fine arts department. The student body is definitely, almost to a concerning degree, not educated.
Our school equipment - including computers - are fairly new; the building is in good shape; most of my personal experiences with the teachers are that they don't stay long, they have a high turnover; the coaches who also teach things like history don't have the ability or care to do so.
Their Covid policies are helpful and are put into practice. They split up our lunch times and so on to make sure we are safe.
The theater department equipment is not adequate for UIL performances.
All in all, they try their best, but some areas seem to be always lacking while others never are.

I have really enjoyed my time attending Bridgeport Independent School District. Bridgeport is a small town, therefore the School is very welcoming and has a family like atmosphere. My school is not like any other school, our teachers and coaches interact very well with all of the students, There is a lot of support within the schools that make us amazing. The Academic and Athletic side of our school both succeed in various ways. Our school is amazing but one thing could help it become even better. I would love to see more support and involvement within the school to make the District and Community better.
