I attended Brick Township High School. I had a choice of where to go and I am so glad I chose BTHS. The education, teaching staff, and administration were some of the best I have come into contact with. They were always pushing me to be the best I could be and get the grades I wanted. On top of being great in the classroom setting, the school also had a good amount of extra curicular activities. I had been a part of the Cheer Team, Drama Club, and the PALS club to name a few. To this day, I still make frequent trips back to the high school to visit old teachers and administration. I am so happy to be able to say that I am a product of Brick Township Schools!

The Brick Township Public School District is an average school district that has improved over the years, yet still has room for improvement. Each year I have attended Brick schools there has been a different administrative team new sets of rules and regulations. As a student at Brick Memorial, I can confidently say that there is no routine with all the staff changes. As a developing high school student, this change is hard to adapt to when there is not much time before a new team is brought in. Sadly, in this community, we have suffered from losing students. Our district has done an awful job of helping students mourn. Yet, they've done a great job at sweeping tragic news under the rug and pretending as if nothing has ever happened. Considering the number of students that have been affected by the deaths that have occurred, the district has not done tried hard enough to make sure that students are stable when they are suffering and attempting to get through these hardships.
I’ve lived in Brick my entire life and have been through three amazing schools. Veterans Memorial Elementary and Middle School and Brick Memorial High School. The teachers have such a love of teaching as well as a love for each individual student. I’ve enjoyed learning and have been involved in every aspect of school. There has always been positive affirmations given to each child and having that all the way through High school is something Brick should be proud of. My high school music teacher is who made me understand and realize what I want to do in life. I’m currently in college at TCNJ pursuing music education with the hopes of taking all the knowledge given to me through TCNJ and the Brick school district and give back by being the best teacher I can be. My hopes for future children who will go through this district is to always be positive, grades really do matter and teachers are there to help and nurture you. This will be the best twelve years of your life.
