Overall, Brewer was not bad as a school department. By the end of my senior year it had started to go down hill. My whole high school experience though was good, I am still still very close with my friend from there. It didn't really ready me for college, but to be honest it is more of a learning experience in general. Brewer was a good starting base that will help to create a foundation for something bigger down the road.
I think that Brewer High School provided a large amount of opportunities for me. I think that unfortunately, the school is a bit under funded and that meant that academically it wasn't the best, but the sports department gets good funding and there are many extracurriculars.
My experience in Brewer was good for the most part. There was a lot to get a student involved, and although the sports teams are very political...I still had a great time. Teachers are great, along with the staff and students. Middle School was by far my favorite years. Especially 8th grade. We did so many great and fun things as a class and the teachers were very personalble and was close to every student.
