For the most part it was alright. Teachers are as they usually are, a mixture between good and bad, some teaching their curriculum very well and others very poorly. The principles and counseling leaves much to be desired as far as students are involved. There is a lack of communication and thoughtfulness towards students as well as a chaotic variable of having multiple principles and counselors per year. Overall it’s not bad and it’s not the best either. A mediocre school, with plenty of academics and resources with poor management.
There are some really amazing teachers at Brenham High School but overall I have not had a very positive experience here. The academics are not that great, even the AP classes. There is always some weird smell in the hallways and always someone getting in trouble with the police. I would say our best attribute would be our sports teams, but too much attention is paid to football and not enough on other sports like tennis for example.
It's a basic public school, it needs updating to the building. Non-basic courses are not offered. Very diversity.
