Bremen is a small, rural community. The school offers fewer choices than in a larger school district, such as only 1 foreign language, but the classes that are offered are well taught and I feel that I am well prepared for college. Many college credit courses are offered. I have earned enough college credits to enter college as "almost" a sophomore.
Being a smaller town encourages increased community involvement. Example: when our teams return victorious from sectionals, regionals,
semi-state and state championships, most of the towns people line the main street while police cars and firetrucks give a noisy escort into town. It's amazing! Parents and grandparents also show up in large numbers for academic events, musical performances and the school plays.

I really like the Bremen Public schools is in a small town. A “good town” as they like to call it. Everybody is very involved in sporting events and helping out the community. You will always see a smiling face wherever you are in this little town. I moved here in 5th grade when I started attending Bremen Elementary/Middle School. I’ve never had a bad experience with one of the teachers or people of even higher authority. From great friendships to great academics this school has it all. I will miss Bremen HighSchool as I go on into the next chapter of my life, but I wouldn’t change a thing.
The thing I love most about Bremen is that we have open lunches for the high schoolers. It gives us a chance to experience the real world and how being an adult feels and works. However, the thing I dislike most about Bremen is the cafeteria food. It really could be better. I feel like they spend too much money on superficial things rather than on things that matter, like, the children having a decent lunch.
