Brecksville-Broadview Heights City School District Reviews
The school has some good qualities and some bad qualities. The school does a pretty good job of integrating more technology into the school and giving all students resources to help complete their work. The school does have problems with the building and facilities that need to be reviewed. One major problem with the school is the lack of communication between administration, counselors, and teachers. No one talks to each other and it causes problems with the students and much of the faculty will give contradicting answers and solutions to students. It is quite hectic. Another problem is the lack of communication to parents. The school sends out weekly/ monthly emails to all parents, but when parents email administrators, it takes a lengthy amount of time to get back to them causing problems between parent/faculty communication.
The Brecksville-Broadview Heights School District has a lack of care for their students when it comes to serious issues, they are more likely to cover their bottoms to avoid a lawsuit as to help a student with an ongoing problem. I am a student and have unfortunately haven't experienced any kindness, especially at the high school. You most likely will have a hard time fitting in if you aren't rich, cool, or good-looking. The school disregards confidentiality and there are like at least 3 floods per year at the hs because the school was built backward. I do not recommend nor do I feel safe (no metal detectors/ measurement of safety) and it's gotten to the point that I will be transferring. Also, coming from a lower-class caucasian female there is no diversity and you are shunned if your family doesn't have money, etc.
Brecksville-Broadview Heights City School District is a great school district. The academics, teachers, and clubs are very excellent. The teachers not only prepare students for their future classes but they also prepare them for college. At the schools you feel very safe because of the amount of security and the school officers. The only issue with the school is that there is a very little amount of diversity. Other than that the Brecksville-Broadview Heights City School District is a great place to send students.
