Branford School District Reviews
I liked many of my teachers. To me, if a teacher has a great personality and knows their subject matter, that makes all the difference in wanting to learn. I appreciate it when they really go out of their way to help a student. Over the years I found that the school district has prepared me for further learning, however, I think the quantity of quality teachers has diminished considerably. Unfortunately, great teachers are hard to find and keep. We need to pay them more!!
Well, during my time in Branford, I think it’s an average school overall, the education is good, they have give you necessary help when you need it, although the teachers aren’t that great, there’s only about 3 that were helpful to me, rest were boring. Assignments and Homework are way too much sometimes, and the sports teams are good, like I said overall average school.
The curriculum is great- it is challenging, interesting, and engaging. However, they could do with more AP classes in the high school. The reason I gave them a 3/5 is because there is a lot of bullying and the teachers/administration doesn't do anything about it. They wouldn't do anything about it even if you gave them a long list of evidence to prove that you're being bullied. The teachers (ALL of them) pick favorites and if you're not one of them it's harder to get an A as they don't really pay attention to you. The curriculum is great but the people- a rich, self-righteous lot- aren't.
