I like that the school is medium size and very diverse. You can get lost in a crowd, but your teachers know who you are. I would like the teachers to be better at understanding where the students are coming from and be okay with being flexible.
I love Brandywine! My teachers are lovely and care about my interests and aspirations. The school has an influx of new teachers as of late, as many have retired but the new energy and teaching styles of these new staff members have helped the school a lot.
Brandywine school district has a great environment for the students with all types of educational needs. It has a lot of potential still requires growth in many subjects. Needs more cultural diversity, since it is a public school there are many different cultures that need to be appreciated as much as the others. Than more clubs and courses. Having more clubs and activities can bring more families to the district that can help the district grow, more student involvement. Including students in decisions could potentially create unity between the districts.
I love being apart of the Brandywine School District. The students and teachers make me feel like family. I have fun in almost all my classes throughout elementary to High school. I feel like some of their goals require more money but none the less things are great.
Brandywine school District takes care of all their students and staff. What my school district does is they find teachers, nurses, and lunch ladies who really care about overall students well beings.
I like the Brandywine School district has definitely created a safe environment for the student and faculties. I specifically attend Mount Pleasant High School which has rigorous and prestigious programs such as AP, IB, and Honors programs to help children around the community.
I attended Brandywine my whole high school career, and I will say that I went to college prepared for the material. Especially in my math courses, I was more then prepared in that subjects compared to the other students in my university. Overall, Brandywine is a pretty good school, academics were above standards and the teachers appear to care for their students.
My 4 years of attending concord high school of the Brandywine school district has made me feel although my time could have been spent more efficiently. There wasn't much help for the students especially this year's senior class of 2020. I wish I had more help with things such as planning for college and staying focused on reaching my goal before graduation.
I like this school district, they have always keep the parents informed. They have really stepped up since this pandemic. I am a proud parent of a student that attends a high in Brandywine School District.
I am a graduate of BSD and also have had 2 children go through BSD schools. I trust these schools to be a safe place for my children to learn. In particular, we have had positive experiences with the gifted program, arts opportunities and school counseling services. The rigor of the IB programme seemed to vary depending on the teacher, but ultimately it seemed to prepare my son well for college and allowed him to earn advanced credit. District administration is strong.
I would like if the teachers would be more involved and care for their students, because they go through a lot
I had a good time when I first got to the school but after being there a while the teachers like to argue back with teacher the students like to run the halls like we in a daycare. Academic wise they are good just to keep focus on the topic.
As of May 2020, I will have attended schools within the Brandywine School District for 13 years. My experience within the district has had its ups and downs like any other school district but now that I'm looking back on the entire experience I can say I truly received an incredible education. Every school I attended had a tremendous staff that raised me to become the student I am today. I couldn't have asked for a better education!
They offer minimal support when it comes to mental health. The schools provide minimal accommodations and little support in taking time away for mental health reasons.
My experience involved in the Brandywine school district was very smooth. I was able to receive my diploma with a 3.4 GPA and made a lot of friends throughout my journey. Overall, I would definetly recommend anyone I come across to this district.
wonderful people, good education programs, and good career pathways are available in my school. however, there are a lot of fights that occur during lunch and many people do not listen to the school staff.
Brandywine High School is a good academically. The school systems is well developed and is averagely easy to learn in. One thing that I would change about Brandywine High School is the social environment. I personally think the social environment create emotional barriers for alot of students.
