Brandon Valley School District Reviews
Brandon, South Dakota is a small town. Only 8,705 people live there, but the Brandon Valley School District is amazing! As Brandon has been growing more schools have been built and more extremely qualified teachers have been hired. Once everyone reaches the Brandon Valley High School they are greeted and in the hands of very qualified teachers. The teachers at Brandon Valley want their students to succeed. They want to be able to prepare them for a college, a tech school, or a job right after their time at Brandon Valley High School. Every year at Brandon Valley there is a theme. Last year it was Be BV meaning representing what Brandon is all about in and out of the classroom. This year's theme was BV Invested. The district was making a point that the staff is invested into the student's education and commitment to the student's well being. Brandon Valley is truly one of the best schools in the country!
I have loved my experience at Brandon Valley! We have done so many different things and had so many different opportunities throughout my four years. I love the staff that I have interacted with during my years here. BVHS is different than other schools because we have ideals that have been instilled on us to be not only great students, but also amazing people. Overall, I think Brandon is a great place for students to be and I would not want to go anywhere else.
I loved how close the community was when working with the school and supporting the students in their activities. The teachers were always patient and willing to help all the students understand the material they needed to know. There are many clubs and organizations for students to join, a variety that fits each person. Brandon has always been one of the top schools in the state with their testing scores. Brandon does not have much on diversity.
