Brandon Valley School District Reviews
Brandon, South Dakota is a small town. Only 8,705 people live there, but the Brandon Valley School District is amazing! As Brandon has been growing more schools have been built and more extremely qualified teachers have been hired. Once everyone reaches the Brandon Valley High School they are greeted and in the hands of very qualified teachers. The teachers at Brandon Valley want their students to succeed. They want to be able to prepare them for a college, a tech school, or a job right after their time at Brandon Valley High School. Every year at Brandon Valley there is a theme. Last year it was Be BV meaning representing what Brandon is all about in and out of the classroom. This year's theme was BV Invested. The district was making a point that the staff is invested into the student's education and commitment to the student's well being. Brandon Valley is truly one of the best schools in the country!
I have loved my experience at Brandon Valley! We have done so many different things and had so many different opportunities throughout my four years. I love the staff that I have interacted with during my years here. BVHS is different than other schools because we have ideals that have been instilled on us to be not only great students, but also amazing people. Overall, I think Brandon is a great place for students to be and I would not want to go anywhere else.
My experience at Brandon Valley High School as been nothing but positive! I have been in this district my whole life and you really get to know the teachers and they really show a true interest in building your education and character. Through the years sports have always been my go to and with that came many challenges but coaches being my teachers as well, have really helped in time of need when it came down to homework. My teachers take time out of there lives to have open study labs or just some time on a Sunday night to review before a test. I truly think I am prepared for college because of the hard work my teachers have put in to get me there. Our community is very strong and we care deeply for one another which is why leaving for college is going to be difficult for me. I can not thank Brandon Valley enough for everything they have taught and for who they made me to be!
