Boone county schools typically provide quality education and most teachers are good at teaching. However, in recent years they've been trying to implement more modern methods of learning for the students and it's derailing some peoples' education. For example, a couple years ago they tried to implement Summit online learning and it was a disaster. Most students and parents hated it. This school system also gives advanced students an ungodly amount of homework, forcing them to stay up during very late hours to complete it; especially if they're involved in extracurricular activities.

I had a wonderful time as a student at Larry A. Ryle High School. The school offered the courses that I had an interest in such as the Project Lead The Way course pathway. I was also given many opportunities to pursue extra curriculars. The teachers at the school were all extremely kind and meant the best for their students. I always felt like my teachers truly cared for me and did the best that they were able to help me reach my goals. I felt like I formed genuine bonds with my teachers and that is something that I will never forget. I met some amazing friends at Ryle and I will continue to be friends with those people up into college. It was an honor to be voted Mr. Ryle and I will never forget my years at Larry A. Ryle!
