Blue Ridge Community Unit School District No. 18 Reviews

2 reviews
All throughout my time at Blue Ridge, I felt comfortable and welcomed. For a small district, they provide many opportunities for student involvement such as Key Club, Student Council, Class Officers, Band, Chorus, Golf, Bass Fishing, the list goes on. Since it is a small school, students form strong relationships with the teachers. It is quite easy to go to your math teacher for help on your homework, and stay far past than planned since they are asking about your family, other classes, or any current issues. Many of the teachers have had past students that may be someone's grandmother, father, sister, etc. Blue Ridge is a loving school environment, however recent changes to faculty is starting to change that overall feel, making current student's time in the district less memorable.

I wish our community and leaders of our school showed more of an interest and a care about the people of school. We have room for a lot of improvements. Some teachers really care and we can tell, and others absolutely do not and shouldn't be teaching.
