Blount County School District Reviews
For the twelve years I have attended three blount county schools, I would say that the experience was wonderful. The teachers and staff was always helpful. They cared for the students, the employees, and the schools. Without the classes being challenging, I wouldn't be college ready. They have always pushed us to know what we wanted to do after we graduated. They pushed us to try out best every day and to be better than we was yesterday. My experience was awesome and I wouldn't want to attend another county scholl than blount county.
Blount County Schools is a good school district overall. With surrounding school districts constantly getting new turf fields, equipment, and building remodels it is hard to keep students enrolled. The honors teachers are great, and for anyone who is not college bound and would like to pursue a trade the high schools have great programs. The athletics are full of dedicated coaches who could do so much better with more funding, and anyone with any athletic talents go to the surrounding districts. The school district could really be amazing, if the funding was there.
I had loving, dedicated, and hard working teachers. They get criticized a lot, but they really are the best teachers. The whole faculty was great and everyone has such good school pride!
