At Jefferson High School, the student to teacher ratio is fairly low, so students can easily approach teachers with questions. There’s many of resources provided to help teens learn, such as the media center, and they even have used ACT and AP study books that students can check out for free! Also, they have a great College and Career Center where counselors advise students on their college options. As far as sports go, we have many kinds of sports teams and excellent coaches, along with a small and large gym.
Even though the school is majority white (I’d say roughly 2/3), teachers, students and staff still constantly promote and accept diversity. We even have a “Diversity Day” where teens of different ethnic backgrounds make posters with fun facts, food samples, and games to give people a taste of their culture (ex: Somalian, Guatemalan, Nigerian).

I attend Jefferson Senior High School in Bloomington, Minnesota. There have been many improvements to the school in recent years, such as a new cafeteria and the new "flex space." This allows for a different type of learning experience that many students really enjoy. The teachers are very nice and willing to work with students. Resources are provided for student's success.
I absolutely love this school district! The teachers are mostly helpful but overall helped me learn and kept everyone safe. The environment that the school district has built left me feeling safe and capable to learn and perform to the best of my ability. Overall, a great school district.
