I have been apart of the Black River Falls School district since kindergarden. One of the districts problems as a whole, especially in the high school is keeping their staff. Our admin and staff have not always got along and the pay is not the greatest so we would have many teachers leave each year. This made it very hard to create relationships with teachers. Also due to the high need for teachers, and it being such a small town, we would be hiring teachers that were fresh out of school.
The teachers are super nice and there are so many learning opportunities! I especially love choir class! Not only is it great to be musically involved with the school, but you get to make so many friends in the class. In addition, this high school pays for any and all college classes you choose to take while you're in high school. I am very happy with my years at Black River Falls High School.
I went to school here almost 20 years ago so I'm sure a lot has changed. However, when I attended here it was a good school. I had great friendships and remember the school having great science, math and technology teachers with above average facilities.
