Birch Run was very welcoming. It had a lot of great opportunities to get involved in. Sports and clubs for everyone. The school spread school spirit and tried to get everyone involved. The teachers are wonderful, they keep the students best interest in mind and want you to achieve. While there may not be as many class options as other schools, they do provide classes for more excelled learners and lots of electives. The administrators try not to act as too much of authority figures but enough that we get the point that they are in charge. Also, the fact that many were former teachers at the schools makes it easy for them to understand what the teacher life is like. The schools also try to create a sense of unity between the elementary, middle, and high school. Instead of three differesnt schools we are one school district.

Birch Run Area Schools is a great place to attend because of the learning environment and resources it has to offer. There are many different clubs and activities for students to get involved in as well and teachers are always willing to work with students on new ideas for clubs and organizations within the school. At Birch Run Schools, there is always a place for everyone to fit in and get involved. I also enjoy it because I feel that with the vigorous AP courses, as well as the extra pressure and independence pushed onto the students, I feel very prepared for college and ready to succeed in the future.

While Birch Run Area Schools is a great school district to attend, I would like to see a study hall put into the schedule so more students can work on homework and get extra help during the day while the teachers are all available at the same time. I would also like to see more class projects to build teamwork skills as well as give back to the school district and community.
Birch Run Area Schools are located in the small village of Birch Run. This is a great school because being in a small town allows for you to become closely connected to your teachers and classmates which in return allows for great involvement in your classes and extracurricular activities. I highly recommend this school because we have a strong academic program and we have an even stronger student body that is willing to help any student in any way possible. We act as a family and we all grow into the slang of "One School, One Family."
