I liked billings school district a lot. The teachers are very flexible, while also making sure we are learning. There is nothing I would really change about the district besides maybe more snow days. When it is freezing cold below zero even we still have school.
The school district provided a safe place to learn, but not every place is perfect. It has it's faults, but doesn't every school? The staff genuinely care about their students and want them to succeed, and are fighting for the students to get them there. The counselors at Skyview High in particular have helped me prepare for college and usually get us in for appointments relatively quickly. I also appreciate how well the school has responded to COVID 19.
I am Homeschooled and have enjoyed living here. However, I have not been able to realy interact mutch with the schools themselves. Unfourtuinately, they are against Homeschool students joining in for extracariculer activities. I would like to see this change.
There is also a fued between Billings Seinor highschool, and Billings West highschool. I think that this could be solved if people actualy tried to be kind, instead of agravateing the situation.
