Big Horn County School is a very good school and the teachers are very good at getting to know everyone at the school and getting the proper help they need in the classroom. I was able to be involved in several sports and activities going through high school and was very successful at keeping my GPA above a 3.0 through most of high school. The only thing that I did not like about Riverside is the drama and unnecessary action that made no difference to the behavior and responsibility of other students.
In the Big Horn district #4 school I like that you can be open about what you do and don't know. It's excellent that any student can go to a teacher for educational and personal help. Riverside High school is a part of a very tight Knit community, and is the heart of the town. I would like to see more involvement with the community, and it would be appreciated if the non-sports extra curricular activities got more attention. I would like to see more opportunities and options for classes and students.
There is some drama, but, for the most part, the whole school system tries to be really involved and do what it can for the community surrounding it. Almost every single student is involved in some sort of a school activity and competes/plays/participates to the full of their ability. There are many club and activities that do very well at the state level, and some at the national level.
