Unit 8 is a school district that cares a lot about their students. Each school has a family-based atmosphere that makes children feel at home. The teachers are warm and friendly, and they care immensely about their students. The administrators are chosen for their expertise and care for the wellbeing of their community.
this is a good school district and the teachers are super nice and want you to succeed in education there are alot of opportunities in after school clubs and activities and there are teachers that are willing to spend time after school to help you in all of your classes

I've been in this district since third grade. I've experienced so many different types of people, classes, and schools. I've been through four schools: Parkside, Meadowbrooke, Trimpe, and Civic Memorial. I just graduated this past May. I must say that I did have a lot of fun. I have so many great memories of this place. From going to the Boys and Girls Club after school when I was little to Friday night football games in high school. The only complaint is that there is like no diversity. I'm black and have been around so many white people, not that there's a problem with that. I just wish that there were more people of color. Also this town is so small that everyone knows your business. It can sometimes be a good thing if word needs to be spread but also a bad thing. Also when something happens in school there can be light to zero consequences. The students need to be more hassled at times. A lot of things are just swept under the rug, which is unacceptable.
