Its a great district to go and prepare for college with plenty of help from all faculty and staff and they also keep the family involved so they know how there child's education is going and where they need help. The facilities are brand new and are maintained to keep the schools nice and clean. Many of the teachers connect with students for a more involved education and actually care how there students are preforming in class and try to help them as best as they can. I would recommend this district to any parent looking for a great education and environment.

I have attended Bernalillo High School since my freshman year, and I must say the education levels continue to plummet as the years go by. I can count multiple times when teachers are hired just to fill a position but fail to dedicate their time to teaching their students. It is more so memorizing materials for tests and less of actually learning the curriculum.
My experience in the district was a good one. I agree that the sports are fun and time flies by when having joined. The safety is at an average level, and the involvement by teachers/parents is also at an average level. I would like to see the bias of having a certain last name or being from a certain area stop. Being biased could be a very bad thing. This is a really bad concept to the school because it takes privileges away from the students away from that region. Overall, other than the bias, the school is progressing for good, and as of now it is better than how it was ten years ago.
