Benton Area School District Reviews

1 review
The Benton Area School district is one full of bright students filled with potential who are held back by small town thinking and politics. The teaching ideology within this district is simply to teach to learning objectives or to the end of year assessments (i.e., AP exams). The activities that the school chooses to sponsor are somewhat beneficial to students. The sports teams that are deemed more important are given better resources than ones which are not seen as important, and the same goes for certain clubs and activities. Certain resources like specialized classes are hit or miss as teachers in these subjects are hard to come by. The Benton Area School district does have very safe schools, but their facilities are bare minimum and the effectiveness of the administration is almost nothing.
