From Kindergarten to Senior Year, I have been a tiger. Because most of my class grew up the same way, Bennett High School the students are very close. It has a very welcoming feeling as a student. I always felt like I had someone to talk to when there were problems that I was faced with, whether that was a peer that I needed guidance from or the principal. In athletics, I found sports that I loved, and people that I would stay in contact with long after college. Not only were the staff incredible, but the opportunities were always right at the palm of our hands. Most students take classes through UNC and are able to go to college already had to complete most of their first-year requirements. If I were to change one thing about my school I would change the spirit.

Bennett High School is not necessarily extraordinary. I would say I had a good education here. I especially appreciate the fact that they pay for your college classes- that helped me extremely and I feel like I really got ahead on college courses through my high school. The food is not all that great, but they offer off-campus lunches for those who want other food. I would say most teachers are qualified for the job, but most of the time the teachers are also sports coaches, which kind of sucks. I got along very well with all faculty, all of them were supporting and loving and cared about me as a person, not just a student. Mrs. Casandra Salberg is a fantastic principal.
The factuality at Bennett lacks awareness of what the students want. They would rather spend money on wasteful, pointless things that do not benefit the students in any way. This school is also very bad at preparing students for college. The workers at Bennett are not very sympathetic and it is hard for students to connect with faucilty.
