I transferred to Benicia High from Vallejo High School because my Mom wanted me to get a better education and I definitely did. The people are friendly and most of my teachers actually cared about the students and wanted to teach. I love a lot of the teachers I met while studying at Benicia High and I feel like they really try their best to try to set their students up for success after high school. I just wish they would provide more resources in terms of scholarships and internship opportunities and make their resources more well-known. Although overall, it is a great school with so many great teachers.
I had a good time in high school and had a lot of really awesome teachers, the only thing I’d change would be the students activities and functions to bring students to be more involved!
My parents moved to this area primarily for this school district. I have to say, they made the right choice. From kindergarten to my senior year, almost all of my teachers were incredible. The entire school district is full of spirit and kindness, and you can find help from teachers and admins whenever you look for it. I couldn't ask for a better high school. The only complaint I have is the cafeteria food, but I guess that goes without saying.
