Bellingham School District is far advanced over any other. The community and the students benefit greatly from the effort put in by administrators, teachers, and staff. Compared to other districts I have attended school in, Bellingham School District is amazing. The most important thing that makes it stand out is the people. Teachers and staff are like friends, there to help you succeed. And the student body at the school's are something special. Everyone is accepting and "cliques" are almost unheard of. I feel very fortunate to have spent my high school years in the Bellingham School District. I wouldn't have traded it for anything else.
Review Bellingham School District
Bellingham School District is one of the top prospects in the state, winning multiple academic awards through multi-sport athletes. The environment is wonderful and very supportive from the teachers and other students around. My experience was memorable and never did I take into account that I wasn't welcome even with all the diversity, I believe that's what makes the district so amazing. My district has been grateful for our community accomplishments and can rely on each other no matter what. We are one family.
I very much enjoyed my sports experience with Volleyball and Track. For accedimcs, my AP Bio and AP Lit teachers were amazing, and prepared me well for college. I wish there was more diversity, however, the population of Bellingham is not diverse so it is a city issue, not the high schools'. The facility is always clean, and in general the student body polite and respectful. There is very little bullying. The arts program is highly respected, which I think is important. The cafeteria food is moderate, but most high school cafeteria food is not amazing anyway. The councilers are helpful in making sure their students fulfil all their educational requirements for attending college.
