I had a great experience in the Bellingham Public School District. All of the teachers really great, the one thing I believe they need to be better at is educating students on alcoholism and drug addiction.

Most of the teachers are very helpful and devoted to their students. The community could improve, however, this changes with time. Overall, I would recommend this district since it is safe, clean, and effective!

Bellingham Public Schools have great teachers and faculty! They are very nice and friendly to the students. The school itself is very clean and kept in shape. The classes are challenging for honor level courses and the amount of homework is just fine. I wish the school would involve the students for class trips and other activities.

My experience at bellingham high school these past years were decent. The teachers and staff were okay but they could be nicer. Same with the students

Mostly my experience at BHS has been good. I have had positive learning experiences and supportive and knowledgeable teachers.

Bellingham Public Schools was a great experience since I started in 6th grade. As soon as I got into the highschool, I joined the football team. The coaches and captains and players made it a great atmosphere. Being a senior captain now, we made sure that we treat everyone as brothers and our locker room is like our second home. The academics are pretty good, there's plenty of help if you're struggling, like tutors and teachers who care about the student learning all that he/she can. The classes are challenging at their respective levels, so everyone has a chance to improve their knowledge.

My overall experience with staff and learning has been very good. The teachers do a good job with the curriculum and activities. There are opportunities for additional student life and our principal has been amazing. He is well liked because he relates well to students and parents as well as staff.

Wonderful, supportive staff and involved teachers. Special education services that are tailored to each child, and an amazing support system for parents.

Bellingham Public Schools have great education, thanks to the amazing faculty. Teachers truly care for their students, and all resources are openly available. I highly recommend these schools for public schools!

High school is what you make of it. I’ve developed so much work ethic and learned so much. Many extracurriculars have helped enhance skills in all areas. I was able to start the Blackhawk Tutoring Center, an extra help service for all grades and subjects. My principal, Mr. Giguere, was one of the most helpful in opening the tutoring center. To see a staff member just as motivated as me about positive change is so inspiring. I adore the dedicated faculty who want us to succeed. The determination in their eyes only makes me try harder. Our school has a great National Honor Society. It has helped me make great connections and serve my community. Our advisor Mrs. Remy is one of the hardest working people I know. BHS has been nothing but kind to me. The change I would like to see is for kids to appreciate their opportunity to have an education more at our school. Faculty tries so hard to foster future success and some kids take it for granted.

I have only been going to Bellingham public schools for two years. The staff here is very nice and they try to do everything they can to give students a higher education. But I must say the other students here are terrible and the school is a little outdated. The teachers have a hard time controlling a lot of the unenthusiastic and irresponsible kids . The kids get away with vaping and smoking in the bathrooms and hallways and even right in the classroom. the kids will not listen and engage in class. I wish the faculty would do something to take control of the student body more effectively. Also the lunch food is sub par, I cannot bare to eat it and it makes me sick. I wish instead of using tax money to fit rooms with bigger tv they would work on the actual structure and things like food and better teachers in the school.

Bellingham High School is a great school, where I have made many lifelong friends and learned things that will help me in my future career.

My experience in the Bellingham school system was good. the teachers I had were fairly good but there were teachers in the school that were not great. The school system cares about their students and has them in their best interest.

My child went into Bellingham schools mid school year and they were great about helping her adjust and keeping me informed. She has thrived this year and even started extra curricular activities. I also grew up in Bellingham and have to say I think the schools have improved.
