I was a member of Bellevue Public Schools since the 6th grade and ever since I've felt like I've been at home. First off the people, such as faculty, students, administrative, etc are all great people. The culture there is one of a kind. Everyone at Bellevue Public Schools is a family. During my time there I met a lot go great people that I continue to talk to today. The relationships you make in this school district lasts a lifetime. In addition, their sports are always top tier. I played basketball and baseball at Bellevue West and the talent their is unreal. They ready you for college and make sure you're fully prepared! I definitely miss my time their and wish I can go back.
Overall, Bellevue Public Schools is an all around great district. All twenty elementary schools have recently undergone renovation and have updated classrooms. The three middle schools are full of amazing teachers, as well as the two high schools. Bellevue has a strong group of musicians as well!! Both high schools are nationally ranked in regards to their band programs and curate such a prosperous band program.
I have been in this school district since kindergarten and I am graduating high school this year and I loved being in this school district. The elementary schools are rough because there was a LOT of bullying going on and the teachers didn't do much and it was awful. But, middle school was a lot better; there was still some bullying, but the teachers actually did stuff about it. High school was my best experience in this district since the students were more mature and the teachers REALLY cared about bullying. Also, being with people at the same intellectual level as me really helped. The sporting at Bellevue West is amazing with a state championship or state runner-up in many of the activities such as basketball and football. If you're into the arts, the art programs at both high schools are amazing and the bands are always top in the state.
