Growing up in a small town has lots of its perks. However, it also has its downfalls. At Bellevue, they will keep teachers years after they should have retired. There are no checks and balances on whether teachers are actually teaching or abusing their power. The teachers who do their job receive no recognition because they are too busy catering to staff that have been there forever.
Has a small town vibe, where everyone knows each other. This is bad if you are not from Bellevue. You will have to claw tooth and nail to receive anything while the person next to you could just show up and barely try. I believe it is possible to recognize everyone for their talents.
Heavily focused on athletics, leaving the arts in the dust. Most clubs/sports teams that do well in their field are left to fend for themselves.
You have the opportunity to take college credit classes with a real college. This is one of the reason I would pick Bellevue, I was able to finish my undergrad in 3 years.

Bellevue High School does an excellent job of making sure each student is prepared for college and the real world. Each student's education is personalized and tailored to the individual and their aspirations and career path. There is lots of freedom, yet still great structure. This is an important balance for students, and what makes this school so great!
I believe Bellevue High School was a great place to a great education while also getting involved. I really enjoy how our high school offers college classes, so that we don't have to pay for them in college which is extremely helpful. I also enjoy at my school that teachers and students have more of a one on one bond and can communicate to make sure that students are being successful. We also have multiple different clubs and organizations you can get involved with that marks your interest. One thing that could improve at our school is give fair equal treatment to all sports and clubs, because every kid has their own unique interests and what they want to get involved with.
