Belchertown Public Schools Reviews
I'm a high school senior at Belchertown High School and it's one of my favorite places on Earth. Though diversity is not our strong suit, the community of the people that are brought together at this school is heartwarming. I'm most proud of our academics and quality education at BHS. The wide array of electives, arts, academics, and rigorous requirements is what makes the school's education so special. Also at BHS, you'll never feel alone. Every teacher, administrator, coach, and counselor cares so much about your individual success as well as your happiness.
I have attended Belchertown Public Schools since I was in kindergarten. Throughout my elementary school years, I had amazing teachers and I made a lot of friends. The middle school facility is a very old building, and the teachers there weren't as good as in elementary school. I still had a good experience their though. In my time at the high school my experience has been pretty good. Some of the teachers have been really terrible. The science department is weak, and there are not a lot of classes to choose from.
Honestly, not that bad. Unfortunately the school district isn't that on top of listening to students and staff about what we should be spending our money on, (i.e., random TVs, and vending machines), yes they are nice, but they could've and should've gone towards sports or classes. Everyone is generally pretty nice, and the schools are clean and not scary in any type of way.
