Honestly, not that bad. Unfortunately the school district isn't that on top of listening to students and staff about what we should be spending our money on, (i.e., random TVs, and vending machines), yes they are nice, but they could've and should've gone towards sports or classes. Everyone is generally pretty nice, and the schools are clean and not scary in any type of way.

The Belchertown Public Schools were excellent for all twelve years (k-12) I was there. The teachers did everything to make sure you succeed and are ready for college. The sports teams were great and grades were important to the coaches as well. There was a great diversity of clubs for students to join. Teachers always encouraged students who needed extra help to stay after school, or come early to meet with them to better help them. Guidance department helped high school students find colleges, careers, or military, while also explaining things such as loans and other finances. Overall I left the school system when I graduated and I would give it four out of five stars.
My experience in the Belchertown Public Schools was terrific. I was fortunate to have many teachers who made a significantly positive impact on my development. I will always cherish my days as a student at BHS!
