Beekmantown Central School is a very safe environment, the schools faculty loves their jobs which makes the learning environment great. The school does not have the funding for certain attributes such as focus on certain sports or activities but most importantly the food. Overall my time at Beekmantown High school was great but like any school change for the better could be taken.
My High school experience was pretty good. The teachers are fantastic, however during the pandemic things were more difficult. It was more difficult to do the extra activities that made school more fun, and I felt the work was harder through a computer. Overall I had a lot of fun while getting a great education in high school and there are definitely some aspects of school I am going to miss as I enter into college.
Beekmantown Central School has very nice faculty and staff. The school has upgraded to a turf field and has added tennis courts. The lunches are good and there is a wide range of options. There are also healthy meals like parfaits, protein packs , and nutritious soups. Breakfast and lunch are free to all students. The school also has a cafe which serves drinks like cocoa and coffee, and freshly made cookies. Additionally, there is a wide variety of clubs and activities offered; many of which are for good causes. The environmental club for example strives to reduce the schools carbon footprint by installing LED lights and implementing the use of paper straws. The school also has a few agriculture based classes which grow vegetables for the schools meals and compost things like apple cores and napkins. Beekmantown's sports teams are some of the best, with the football, volleyball, and soccer teams having an exemplary reputation.
