Beechwood Independent Schools Reviews
I went to Beechwood from kindergarten to 8th grade, when my parents pulled me out of school. I was started in school too early and the teachers refused to hold me back, which I believe was a huge detriment to my education. My third grade teacher called me stupid twice, the last I heard, she is still a teacher there. The kids constantly picked on me, I was shoved against the wall in sixth grade by a senior and the teachers did nothing about it, nobody would let me sit at their lunch table so I had to eat lunch on the floor for several weeks until I told my mom and she called the school, and my locker was graffitied in seventh grade and the admin gave me a paper towel and told me to clean it up. There are several more incidents, but I'm running out of room. The only reason I gave two stars is because I do believe most children can get a good education there. However, if you're working class or your child is a little odd, send them to Kenton County public, they'll thank you later.
Beechwood is the best school in the area! They have wonderful administrators, staff, and students. It has a family atmosphere.
I liked how tightly knit the school and community were. Everyone knew each other and was able to get along. It was like the school and community were in their own little bubble, and I loved everything about that. The faculty and staff at Beechwood were very friendly and welcoming when I first came there in the middle of March during my sixth grade year. Because the school is so small, students have close relationships with their teachers and staff, which to me is extremely important when it comes to school.
