My experience with Bedford Public Schools has been everything close to amazing. The atmosphere in each school is always welcoming and warm, making sure no student or staff is left behind. Our athletic departments are always striving and achieving new goals each year, as well! Teachers and office staff consistently follow their initial goals to help students thrive.

I enjoyed my experience at Bedford Public Schools. I was afforded the opportunity to try a variety of things. While there was not much diversity within the the student body, the district did afford the students a diverse opportunity of clubs and activities to explore.
What I did not like about Bedford Public Schools was their lack of concern for the environment. A district-wide wide recycling program is not in place. I took it upon myself to create recycle bins for a substantial number of teachers at the high school and I spoke with the newly appointed Superintendent about implementing a district-wide recycling program. Bedford Public Schools sees themselves as a leader in technology, however as I explained to the Superintendent being a leader is setting a good example for others and attempting to change the world in a positive way. Even after my graduation I will continue to work with the administration to implement a district-wide recycling program.
At Bedford, I was able to take classes that interested me. Yes, there were the normal classes like ELA, and general science classes, but I was also able to take a class in CAD, welding, and three years of machine shop. I was able to have hands on experiences as well as text book experiences such as AP physics and honors Algebra 2. Because of my experiences, I am confident that I would like to become a mechanical engineer. I did well in the classes that are connected to this field, and I also had very understanding in the classes that I was weak in. For me, my high school experience was excellent.
