Beaver River Central School District Reviews
Overall, my experience at Beaver River has been decent, with solid education for the most part, but there is certainly room for improvement. The teachers who are good are great, but the poor teachers can be dishearteningly poor, and lack compassion and understanding for their subjects, forcing students to turn away from their respective subjects. It also comes down to a lack of professionalism, with some teachers being very open about the fact that they simply teach for a pay check, thus damaging their students drive and motivation. However, these kinds of teachers are far outnumbered by teachers that range from quality to outstanding, and we remain undoubtedly the best school in our area, these inconsistencies just take away from the overall experience.
Beaver river is an excellent school for students to attend! it is very small, with a graduating class size of about 60 students. The community is very friendly and i feel safe here. This school has an excellent sports program, with teams always making it to sectionals. This school also has a very good music program. i highly suggest this school as it is very good for the students.
I wish their tennis program was given the same respect as the other sports. Our school has just two courts and no lights. The games often would have to be called before the girls could finish. The other schools did not like to play at Beaver River, they knew they wouldn’t get home until 830-9pm.
