Beaver Dam Unified School District Reviews
My school district prepares its students well for their future and gives great opportunities to its students regarding academics, the arts, STEM, and athletics. If students work hard they will see the fruits of their labor in their last two years of their public education. The most predominant issue in our district is that the administration does not understand what goes on below them. The administration will lead blindly without addressing the issues our community faces. They also disregard teachers and make their jobs harder rather than easier without realizing what they've done. However, despite their hardships, the teachers will go to the ends of the earth for their students and will treat them like their own children if need be. I am thoroughly grateful for my public education through BDUSD and will always be thankful for the opportunities I have been granted.
We are going through a renovation to make a safe and secure high school among other state of the art science department, animal science and agricultural rooms, greenhouse, cafeteria, auditorium and new fieldhouse. Its spectacular and we are very proud of the teaching staff as well, preparing students for our futures
I liked how most of the teachers genuinely cared about the student's education and lives. They give help to students when asked and slow down the teaching when a student doesn't understand. However, I've had a few teachers that do not give help when I've asked for it and simply tell us to read the book without any other help. If every teacher gave out help with asked, I would have given it 5 stars.
