As a Junior at Beaumont High School, it truly is a great place to go. The teachers, staff, and students are really what makes BHS a place of learning. I have been going here for approximately three years and I have gained exceeding amounts of knowledge from spectacular educated teachers. However, I have not only found BHS as great place to learn, but to also learn a great deal of charactership. I have learned how a student should act in front of their teachers and peers as well as better my character for the real world and working environment. All in all, my experience at Beaumont High School exceeds my standards for a High School, and I cannot wait to finish my last year strong. Go Cougars!

Beaumont Unified School district's strengths vary from year to year and school to school. The high school does it's best by providing materials and activities for college readiness and counselor involvement is good. The teachers can vary from great to poor and it is up to chance, especially considering the high population within the highschool. The students themselves can be rude or selfish and a unity among the school is rare but I believe there are perks to this school district and that they are doing their best. Recently they have went under some new changes in administration so I have yet to see if Beaumont improves on the aspects they are working towards (college readiness, academics, and teachers). There is a lot of freedom in the schools in this district and from my experience I can attest that Beaumont is an OK school district.
BUSD is a school district that needs more help in improving the schools. All schools are overpopulated in students, and the student to staff ratio is overwhelming to the educators. Teachers at the school truly do care about the education of the school, and at the High School the new principal is proving his admiration and care for the students, staff, and extracurricular activities.
