I have not had an overwhelmingly positive experience as a student at Beach High.

The school places far too much emphasis on athletics. While I benefit greatly by participating in Beach High's athletic programs, I find that the programs detract from a healthy academic curriculum.

For those students who are inclined to follow a vocational path, Beach High falls woefully short of a suitable skills-refinement curriculum.

I cannot help but believe that I would have been offered greater opportunities in almost any other school system in the state of North Dakota. I will enter the workforce with a substantial social and intellectual deficit.

While my grades are well above average, they are fortified by a curriculum that is far too easy. The material and instruction is boring and tedious. The only reason I do not have a better GPA is because I have to struggle so hard to stay engaged in this institutionalized educational system.

It was nice to be able to know practically everyone in the school, from teachers and administrators, to students and their families. For a small community, there was a wide variety of activities that were easy and fun to be involved with/in.
I liked how safe I felt at school and how secure it was. The teachers and faculty were amazing and always willing to help students out. I wished there was more diversity in the students. I also wished there would have been more athletics and clubs to choose from.
