I appreciate all of the opportunities that BCLUW has provided me. Being a small school, I have had the chance to be involved in many different activities. I am big into athletics, and have had a overall positive experience with each sport that I have played. I have been given the resources I need to succeed. Most of the teachers are very willing to help in every way.
Teachers and coaches were great. Small school so easy to get involved. Kids, for the most part, were friendly.
I was shocked as a teacher to see the staff interaction with students, and the deep connections with parents and kids in each course, compared with my previous high school, which I thought was pretty good. It made my old high school look below average in comparison. This school cares deeply about its students, particularly from a teaching and college prep standpoint.
