Bay City School District Reviews
My daughter has been in the school district since the beginning. She has had a great educational experience. She excelled in sports and was able to get a scholarship and is continuing in college. Most of her teachers were caring and very positive influences. So much so that she is going into secondary elementary education. Love this District! Loved Bay City Central High School!
I have been apart of Bay City Public schools from Elementary to High School, and I can say it has been the best years of my life. Our schools are very diverse, with lots of clubs and sports that you can join, from football, all the way to E-sports, there is a place for everyone. Bay City Public schools has helped me with college readiness and gives me plenty of opportunities to get involved.
I have been going to Bay City Public Schools all my life. This year has been a little different and eye opening. I always thought we were a welcoming and diverse school until May of 2018. At that time we had some students flying confederate flags, news stations broadcasting the events, race wars were starting... it was ugly. I didn’t like the way it was handled and I didn’t like the way nationally that my school looked. I didn’t like that it made everyone look like a racist. I was for the first time happy to see a school year come to an end. I would like to see more diversity and education around history and where we all came from. I would like to see everyone learn tolerance for things that they may not understand.
