For all 12 years of my education, I have had the opportunity to attend the Battle Ground School District. Looking back on my elementary school years, along with middle school, I will not hesitate to say it's been a pleasure to attend this school district. I've succeeded in math, sciences, and English. Staff and students have encouraged me on my path towards graduation. My counselors and principles stepped up to help when my grades were suffering. In the end, there's no doubt that I would never choose another school district. Safety and success are a guarantee for all students involved.

I liked the school district. I grew up in battle ground and went to school in the district from kindergarden all the way until I gradguated high school. The district gets involved in a lot of activities and the activities get the parents or the student involved. The district has multiple gardens at different schools, tons of activities to get the children involved. Also the district helps a lot with the community. A lot of the teachers work one on one with students and make sure that each and every student feels welcome and understands what is being taught in school along with having a family outside of a personal family.
There is not much diversity at this school ethically. What I like about this school is that they encourage students to join clubs and give us time to meet. Depending on the teacher, they will help the student succeed in their class. The student must go out of their way to ask for help and especially during my senior year, I’ve had to figure out how to do things for college without any help. It’s also frustrating to set up a meeting with the counselor because they hardly seem to be there. Like many schools, there’s always bullying, but teachers do not tolerate it and will stand up for students.
