I have been enrolled in Basis school since 6 grade. My Gifted and Talented teacher recommended this school and I loved it from the first day I started there. The teaching is very intense and the teachers are from all over the world! It is a totally different experience and its all worth it!

I used to be at BASIS Medical Center, which has now become a primary school and I have now moved to BASIS Shavano (6th-12th grades). My experience at BASIS has been very intense without a doubt, but almost too overwhelming. It takes a toll on you physically and mentally. The curriculum is very rigorous but be too much for a child to handle.
BASIS swarms us with homework, tests, and projects to ensure that we not only memorized the material, but also understand what we are learning. At first, getting used to the long nights of studying and homework was difficult but as I adapted to the new school, I excelled academically and felt that I was actually being challenged in school.
