TERRIBLE SCHOOLS FOR SPECIAL NEEDS!
If your child is neurotypical and into music or sports this school system is great.
My kids have attended Ranch Heights Elementary, Madison Middle School, and Bartlesville High School. The music programs in this town are phenomenal, especially orchestra.
Ranch Heights was amazing and I would give it 5 stars on its own.
Madison gets 4 stars. Their administrators are truly involved in the school and go above and beyond. They make every effort to be there for the students despite huge budget cuts.
The HS gets 2 stars and only 1 for district administration.
If you have a special needs student you have to fight tooth and nail for services. They do not identify the children in need and will try to fight any accommodations needed, especially at the high school. My oldest ended up hospitalized from anxiety caused by this whole process. They also gave her the wrong OT eval when I finally got them to do one. I have withdrawn her from the school.

Bartlesville Public Schools had plenty of advanced classes to take that more than prepared me for college. Many of them were more challenging than my college classes were. The teachers were engaged, knowledgable, and respectful. I able to clep out of several college classes by taking AP tests with the information taught by the teachers. They were willing to provide extra help when needed for homework and tests. Bartlesville also had a wonderful fine arts building with many classes to choose from. A few things Bartlesville could improve on are encouraging diversity through diversity classes/seminars and their quality and healthiness of food. Overall, Bartlesville provided a positive and safe learning environment.
Bartlesville High school is an awesome school. We are big enough to be classifies as a 6A school yet we are small enough that most people know who everyone is in their class. I love how our school has a unique student section at the football games, We call ourselves "The Bucket Brigade" and bring decorated buckets to all the football games to create a little extra noise. The only thing that I would like to see changed at Bartlesville High is the counselors. Not so much the counselors themselves but their availability. I always hear people complain about how hard it is to get into the counselors office and how the ladies at the front desk in the counselors office are usually not very helpful. Overall, my experience at BHS has been an awesome one!
