TERRIBLE SCHOOLS FOR SPECIAL NEEDS!
If your child is neurotypical and into music or sports this school system is great.
My kids have attended Ranch Heights Elementary, Madison Middle School, and Bartlesville High School. The music programs in this town are phenomenal, especially orchestra.
Ranch Heights was amazing and I would give it 5 stars on its own.
Madison gets 4 stars. Their administrators are truly involved in the school and go above and beyond. They make every effort to be there for the students despite huge budget cuts.
The HS gets 2 stars and only 1 for district administration.
If you have a special needs student you have to fight tooth and nail for services. They do not identify the children in need and will try to fight any accommodations needed, especially at the high school. My oldest ended up hospitalized from anxiety caused by this whole process. They also gave her the wrong OT eval when I finally got them to do one. I have withdrawn her from the school.

Bartlesville Public schools district is one of the absolute best to be apart of. When I first started school in elementary I had the urge to be at school everyday and be apart of my class, and have a great time. As I got older yes my desire for school faded a bit, but then middle school and high school came along, and I learned to love the environment. I now as a senior apart of Bartlesville Public Schools, I strongly recommend enrolling here, as it is friendly and the class sizes are perfect, and the teachers are great as well. Bartlesville Public Schools are the best for learning while you build relationship with others in your community.
Bartlesville Public Schools had plenty of advanced classes to take that more than prepared me for college. Many of them were more challenging than my college classes were. The teachers were engaged, knowledgable, and respectful. I able to clep out of several college classes by taking AP tests with the information taught by the teachers. They were willing to provide extra help when needed for homework and tests. Bartlesville also had a wonderful fine arts building with many classes to choose from. A few things Bartlesville could improve on are encouraging diversity through diversity classes/seminars and their quality and healthiness of food. Overall, Bartlesville provided a positive and safe learning environment.
