Barstow Unified School District Reviews
We live in a a small community where school is very important and the students that attend are like family to each other. I have grown up in the Barstow unified School district all my life and wouldn't have it any other way. I remember every single one of my teachers from re K till now, and I truly believe each and every one of them have taught me something that I can now take with me to college.
Being at Barstow High school for four years has been great. Most teachers are involved with students academic lives and help out with stuff if asked to do so. As well some teachers are creative in their way of teaching their lesson plans. The only down side of Barstow High School is the cafeteria food which needs improvement. Most of the time the food will be cold it is rare that the food is warm and sometimes they even run out of certain food for the people that are lac-tos-tolerant . The other down side is that since the school was built on a hill going up to your classes is a struggle from main hall all the way up to the 70's row. They should also work on how polite the faculty is because some adults their are so rude to you just because you are a student.
Barstow Unified School District is a small school district with only on high school in the district. I enjoy the feel of a medium sized high school where it is small enough to almost know everyone, but big enough to forget names. The academics are pushed though hard to receive in often crowded disruptive classes. The facilities are outdated, however it provides a sense of old tradition and pride.
