Review Barrington Community Unit School District No. 220
Barrington high school gave me a ton of opportunities that I would not have had if I had gone to a different high school. Some teachers more than other but overall they seemed to care. I feel that the diversity is really lacking. Most of the students and staff are the same race, the people that aren't of that majority have been picked on from time to time in my experience. I think that this could be improved upon a little bit, it seems like there are too many people that aren't willing to move on from the past. This recent election has really stirred up some hard feelings between certain students and most people don't do anything to prevent this from happening. The bathrooms at Barrington are terrible and really need to go through a renovation. I believe that if there were a few changes to the school more people would like it much more than they might already. Overall I loved going to Barrington and am really thankful for all I have learned.
The Barrington Community Unit School District No. 220 was such a helpful school district not only for me, but my family too. I always had such great experiences with the teachers and staff. I also feel like they prepared me the best they could for my upcoming years in college and my success these next four years will be because of them. I was provided with so many wonderful resources that I will be able to continue to use throughout college. I am so thankful to have been apart of this school district.
