I moved to Barnsdall for my high school years. I absolutely love this school system and district. I would not change anything about this place, it is wonderful!
The teachers from day one was welcoming, encouraging and supportive to me. They put me in advance classes and enrolled me in gifted and talented;also introduced me to academic team which I found my sport.we went to state even got first runner up..I was captain of my team for 4yrs. my senior year we won district and just one question in double tie breaker from going to state.Being on the academic team taught me more about teammanship. My school did senior honor nite for the academic team , introducing each senior and their parents walked across in front of the whole school. My mom had a stoke was sent to hospital the Sunday before I graduate.. I talked to my counselor , principal, superintend and my teachers about how I was worried my mom wouldn't make my graduation. They setup video to record it and even had it arrange for live feed to my mom. When my mom was released a hour before I graduated they continued to watched her
